Olympic class 470

Marine electronics company Tacktick has announced that the Olympic 470 class will use the Tacktick Micro Compass on its dinghy as of March 1, 2005.

The decision was made following the approval of a class rule change at the International Sailing Federation's recent AGM.

The Tacktick Micro Compass is a waterproof, solar-powered digital compass that helps sailors understand wind shift patterns by providing accurate wind shift and heading information.
