Seacart 30 by Marc Lombard

The first sea trials are done.

A big smile was on all five faces after the first off-shore trials. She is really leeping, up-wind on one pontoon or down wind under gennacker. She feels very safe and balanced. She will just go fast over or through waves.

In 14-18 knots of wind on open sea we were able to ballast the stiff construction to max without any concerns. We were sitting on 11,5 knots upwind in 90 degrees tack angle, a few degrees down we sat on 14 knots. Downwind we were doing 16 to plus 20 knots. She is the stiffest trimaran I ever sailed on.

Designer Marc Lombard was impressed over the building technique and the outcome of the sea trials. Soon we sail the boat to Stockholm and when we are there you are more than welcome to come for a ride on this extreme fast and fun sailing machine.

During next week you will see updates on the web, movies and pictures.
