| Moore has been with Furuno for 10 years, most recently serving as the company's assistant general manager of its Denton operations. As Furuno's new East Coast general manager, his responsibilities will include supervision of all departments at the East Coast facility.
"We are extremely pleased to promote Tim to this important position," said Rick Walls, operations manager of Furuno USA, in a statement. "Providing superior customer service is a high priority for Furuno, and we're confident that Tim will help us make great strides to keep our East Coast operations progressing."
Former East Coast general manager, John Stevens, has taken on the newly created position of technical-government support liaison. "With the advent of Furuno's US Coast Guard and other government contracts, it has become imperative for Furuno to provide a dedicated sales and support person for this important market segment," said Walls. "With John's range of technical expertise and government knowledge, he was the logical choice for this position." |
