Tacktick, a UK manufacturer of marine electronics, has announced the appointment of two new distributors in Europe.
Effective immediately, GPS GmbH will represent the company's entire range of wireless electronics in Germany, while its Slovenian distributor, Seaway TiM, will distribute the company's products in Croatia.
"We are pleased to have both these experienced companies joining the Tacktick worldwide team and look forward to their contribution in developing sales in their respective markets," says Greg Wells, director of sales for Tacktick.
Formed in 1996 by joint managing directors Clive and Mark Johnson, Tacktick claims to be the first company in the world to produce wireless, solar-powered navigation instruments for cruising and racing boats with full NMEA interface. Later this month, the group will launch its new wireless Remote Display and Maxi range of large display units for racing and large yachts.
