Maxwell Marine has appointed Harken South Africa as new distributor of its full range of windlasses, anchoring equipment, hatches and portlights for its South Africa territory.
Following recent restructuring, with the sale of the Southern Ocean Rope division, Maxwell is embarking on a global strategy focused on increasing efficiencies in its core business of windlass and hatch production/distribution.
The company has worked closely with Harken, a manufacturer and marketer of sailboat hardware and accessories, on many occasions in the past.
Harken S.A. takes over distribution of Maxwell products, and is transferring all South African boatbuilding accounts, immediately.
