UK marine electronics manufacturer Raymarine is to launch an Arabic version of its product catalogue at this year's Dubai International Boat Show, which opens tomorrow in the UAE.
The move represents the first time that the company's electronics catalogue is available in Arabic, and reflects the growing importance of the marine industry in the Middle East.
"It is vital to converse with our customers in their language and we hope that this new Arabic catalogue will prove useful to the high number of interested people in the Middle East," says Fiona Pankhurst, Raymarine's international marketing communications manager. "Raymarine's worldwide spread of dealers includes nine in countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait so we felt it important to fully support these customers."
Raymarine will also display a range of products during the Dubai show, including the Middle East launch of the A65 - a compact navigation system that offers a fully featured chartplotter and HD Digital fishfinder with a 6.5'' (1650mm) colour screen. Also on show will be the E series, Raymarine's most powerful navigation system, with Platinum cartography.
