With effect from May 1, 2007, Robship, a subsidiary of the Sportmanship Group, will be the sole importer and distributor of Tacktick's range of wireless electronics in Sweden.
Robship, a sailboat focused company, has been supplying and servicing Swedish retailers and OEM's with yachting equipment since 1991.
Managing director Henric Jacobson said: "Tacktick's unique electronics will fit extremely well into Robship's comprehensive range of yachting products. As a company we have very strong relationships with the Swedish sailing market and I am confident that we will have a lot of success selling Tacktick's instruments to the boatbuilders and retail outlets in this market."
This year Tacktick is celebrating 10 years of wireless electronics with the launch of new products including the Race Master for sports and keel boats, the Power Boat Wireless Wind for power cruisers and the new Remote Display for all sailors.
Tacktick specialise in wireless and solar powered electronics for the marine industry. The company was formed in 1996 by joint managing directors Clive and Mark Johnson.
